Joy Milligan

Joy Milligan is an interdisciplinary scholar focusing on race-based economic inequality, published in top law journals including Yale, Virginia, and NYU. Previously a civil rights lawyer at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, she holds a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley and a J.D. from NYU Law. Her current research delves into legal battles over federal administrators’ roles in extending racial segregation.
