Jonathan Verk is co-founder and CEO of Hyphenus, which pioneered ‘Intelligent Dispute Resolution’, blending technology and on-demand mediation that make relationships better and keeps people out of court. Their first product, coParenter (www.coParenter.com) predicts & prevents conflict between divorced parents, was nominated for the 2019 American Bar Association’s Innovation in ADR Award and has been featured extensively in the media.
Prior to Hyphenus, Jonathan was EVP of Shazam, where he lead the TV/media division and helped drive company valuation to over $1B. And as CEO of PromaxBDA, Jonathan transformed an insolvent organization into a vibrant, profitable global platform with over 30 events and conferences and 10k members, worldwide. In 2012 he was recognized as a ’40 Under 40′ by Broadcasting & Cable Magazine.
In various founder, board and volunteer capacities, Jonathan has launched college-based workforce development & diversity programs, served as CMO for One Laptop Per Child, worked with former Vice President, Al Gore and helped two of his kids launch non-profits of their own.
Jonathan is a keynote speaker, presenter and lecturer at UCLA, Pepperdine, Boston College, The National Judicial College and family courts, nationwide. He speaks about innovation in the legal industry and how courts, court culture and litigation are being transformed by technology, changing demographics and a modern interpretation of access to justice.
