Jon Israel

Jonathan Israel is a Workers’ Compensation attorney and senior partner with the RITE law firm in Jacksonville, Florida, specializing in cases involving professional athletes. He is an active member of the North Florida legal community and the community at large. He was raised with the belief that every person is entitled to a fair shake and equal justice regardless of who they are, where they came from, and how much money they have. Israel puts that belief into action every day representing injured workers. He serves as chair of the Workers Compensation section of the Jacksonville Bar Association and is a former chair of the Workers’ Compensation section of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers.

Born in Queens, New York, Israel earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and earned his law degree at the University of Florida for Law School. He and his wife, also a respected Jacksonville attorney, are proud of their three children. When not at work, Israel loves following the Jacksonville Jaguars, Michigan Wolverines, and the Florida Gators. He enjoys hiking and just about anything else in the great outdoors.
