John Meredith is the Chief Operating Officer for Chamberlain Hrdlicka law firm with offices in Atlanta, Houston, Philadelphia and San Antonio.
John holds a BBA from the University of North Georgia. He later earned an MBA from Georgia Tech, specializing in marketing and management. Following his academic pursuits, John attended Baylor University Law School in Texas. During law school, he worked as a summer associate with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corp in Germany. After graduating, he began his legal career at a Houston law firm.
During his tenure at the law firm, John co-founded the acclaimed Aspiring Youth After-School Programs for at-risk youth as a volunteer initiative supported by the Houston Young Lawyers, Texas Young Lawyers, and American Bar Young Lawyers Associations. Serving as Chairman, he successfully implemented programs across multiple cities, benefiting over 13,500 at-risk youth.
To enhance his expertise in non-profit management, John pursued a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University in 1997. Inspired by his passion, he established the Aspiring Youth Foundation, which has grown to employ over 100 individuals and raised over $3 million to support at-risk youth. He served as President and General Counsel until 2005 and continues to contribute as Chairman.
In 2005, John joined Greenberg Traurig law firm as Business Director before transitioning to become the first Executive Director of SpringSpirit, a Houston non-profit organization dedicated to under-served youth and families. Additionally, John has served as an Adjunct Professor at Houston Baptist University, teaching public relations.
In 2015, John re-entered the legal field as the Executive Director of Beck Redden law firm. He then joined Chamberlain Hrdlicka law firm in 2017, assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer.
