Joe is presently Director Emerging Platforms – IT Enterprise Services at Sprint. In this role, he supports email, voice, instant messaging, web conferencing solutions and mobile application development for more than 60,000 employees and contractors. Joe is charged with strategic planning, engineering, implementation and performance of Sprint’s internal collaboration technologies. In addition, Joe is frequently asked to speak at major customer events on the benefits and direction of Unified Communications. He has also provided key note address at several Microsoft hosted events including TechEd, Enterprise Connect, Leap 2012 in Chicago and the 2011 CIO Summit in St. Louis, Mo.
Prior to his current role, Joe was responsible for Sprint Information Technology’s voice platforms – Strategic/Tactical Planning, project management and deployment of supporting technologies. These responsibilities included the support of more than 490 PBX’s, ACDs Voicemail and IVR systems. Joe has an MBA from Rockhurst University.
