Joanne Martin is the founder, managing director, lawyer, and accredited mediator at Align Family Law, a boutique law practice based in Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The firm’s scope is dedicated exclusively to the practice of family law.
After four children and a 15-year career as a script supervisor in film, Martin earned her law degree from the University of British Columbia. She practiced at a full-service firm before moving to Victoria. With a background and degree in business, it was a natural move to start her own law firm. Align Family Law has grown to four lawyers and two full-time staff, helping people all over the province move beyond their separation and create a plan for their path forward.
