Javier C. Grajeda is an attorney and Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist under the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization. Growing up in Los Angeles he worked in his family’s landscaping business where he appreciated the value of hard work and became interested in workers’ rights.
Grajeda is the first in his family to earn college and law degrees, earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
Since his admission to the bar in 2010, Grajeda has exclusively represented injured workers. He serves as treasurer for the Arizona Association of Lawyers for Injured Workers (AALIW). He’s also a member of the Bench and Bar committee, comprised of Administrative Law Judges, as well as claimant and defense attorneys working for the betterment of the hearing process at the Industrial Commission of Arizona.
Grajeda is fluent in Spanish and served on the Board of Los Abogados, Arizona’s Hispanic Bar Association. He is also a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) and the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG). He has published and lectured on the rights of undocumented workers.
