James Hanks is of counsel with Ahlers and Cooney PC in Des Moines, Iowa. The firm represents over 150 school districts in Iowa. Jim combines extensive education knowledge with a public/private sector employment and traditional labor practice. He also served as the chief negotiator in state collective bargaining for former Iowa governors Tom Vilsack and Chet Culver.
