Jack Goodchild is an applicants’ attorney and specialist in workers’ compensation law, certified by the California State Bar Board of legal specialization since June of 1981. Mr. Goodchild started in the field in August of 1976 and has seen the system change repeatedly since that time. He has handled thousands of cases and taken many to trial and up on appeal, all the way through the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Goodchild has lectured and written many articles on the law throughout the years, served as a Judge Pro Tem before the WCAB, and acted as an arbitrator and mediator.
Presently Mr. Goodchild is on the State Bar Workers’ Compensation Executive Committee, where he is active in several subcommittees including the education committee, membership, community outreach, and chairman of the publications committee in charge of Workers’ Compensation Quarterly.
