Haley Altman has over a decade of experience working on complicated transactions in the corporate, private equity, and venture capital verticals. Her practice has extended from the Midwest at Ice Miller to the West Coast at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Over the years, she has completed thousands of transactions from small debt transactions to $800M public-private mergers opposite attorneys from around the world. The idea for Doxly was born at 1 A.M. while Haley and her colleague, Elizabeth Brier, sat surrounded by hundreds of manila closing folders, hunting through thousands of pieces of paper for one missing signature page. A multi-million dollar closing scheduled for the next day hinged on that one page. In that moment, they realized there had to be a better way. In 2016, Haley left Ice Miller to start Doxly and transform the legal transaction management process. Doxly is backed by seasoned software executives and High Alpha, an enterprise cloud venture studio.
