Gay Gordon-Byrne

Gay Gordon-Byrne helped to found the Digital Right to Repair Coalition (repair.org) in 2013, following a long career in the computer leasing business supporting large data centers.  After a short and boring retirement, Gay took up the challenge of restoring the used market for computer equipment by making sure that owners could repair their equipment as had been the case since the 1950s. She has since been recognized as one of the leading authorities on the “Right to Repair” movement and is a frequent speaker on the topic for audiences as diverse as the National Association of States Attorneys General “NAAG”, the Federal Trade Commission,  TED, and an upcoming speaker at the National Conference of State Legislators in Indianapolis.
