Ellen Freeman is a Pittsburgh immigration lawyer who handles labor issues for large employers. She’s had various leadership roles as a member with the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is on the board of Literacy Pittsburgh. Freeman also previously was a member of the Welcoming Pittsburgh Advisory Council, an initiative to attract immigrants to Pittsburgh.
An immigration attorney started doing pro bono work for Ukrainian immigrants in February, shortly after Russia invaded the country.
