Dyane O’leary is an Associate Professor of Legal Writing and the Director of Legal Innovation & Technology (LIT) Concentration at Suffolk University Law School. She is a respected member of the national legal writing and technology community. As the director of Suffolk’s top-ranked LIT Concentration, she spearheads the integration of innovation and practical technology skills for lawyers. Her scholarship centers around merging technology competence into the legal profession and academia.
With her expertise, she has authored the first student-centered coursebook on innovation and technology skills for lawyers. Professor O’Leary has published and presented extensively on subjects like AI-powered legal research tools, document automation, and more. She has also designed an advanced writing class that covers essential areas such as e-discovery, research analytics, cybersecurity, word processing for lawyers, typography, remote lawyering, law practice management tools, and digital design of legal documents. Her contributions have greatly impacted the legal field’s adoption of digital tools and methodologies.
