Dr. Paul Finkelman

Paul Finkelman is Scholar in Residence in Law at Western New England University School of Law in Springfield, MA. He is also the McKinley Distinguished Professor of Law, emeritus at Albany Law School, the author of more than fifty books and hundreds of scholarly articles. The U.S. Supreme Court has cited his work in seven decisions. His most recent major book is Supreme Injustice: Slavery in the Nation’s Highest Court (Harvard University Press). His essays have been published in the New York Times, Washington Post, The Atlantic, Washington Monthly. Slate, and The L.A Review of Books.
