Dr. Anthony C. Arend

Dr. Anthony C. Arend is the Professor of Government and Foreign Service and Chair of the Department of Government at Georgetown University. Tony served as Senior Associate Dean for Graduate and Faculty Affairs (later Vice Dean) in the Walsh School of Foreign Service from August 2015 until July 2018. He served as Director of the Master of Science in Foreign Service Program from 2008-2017. His research and teaching is in the fields of international law, national security law, international legal theory, and human rights
