Dean Blachford is the founder of Blachford Tax Law, where he represents individuals and businesses facing significant tax disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency.
In practice for eight years before going out on his own, Blachford designed his firm to deliver actionable strategies for clients and their accountants.
Blachford previously led the Tax Dispute Resolution and Litigation team at HazloLaw – Business Lawyers. Before then, he began his career as a lawyer for the judges of the Tax Court of Canada after being selected for the Court’s clerkship program.
He graduated from the University of McGill’s Faculty of Law with degrees in common law (LL.B.) and civil law (B.C.L.).
