Cynthia Payne joined New Mexico Legal Group in 2005 as one of the state’s top trial attorneys, having spent a decade with the State of New Mexico building and supervising a complex litigation practice with statewide experience defending misdemeanor and felony cases. She is a member of the New Mexico Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and has served on several rules committees for the New Mexico Supreme Court.
Today, Cynthia serves as General Counsel for US Legal Groups, overseeing legal strategy, compliance, and risk management across the New Mexico offices in Albuquerque and Las Cruces, as well as sister firms in Colorado, Nebraska, and Kansas.
