Cheryl D. Garner is a Certified eDiscovery Specialist and a big believer in continuing education and learning new things. She is litigation support manager at the firm of Ellis George Cipollone O’Brien LLP where she manages the firmwide eDiscovery program. In this role, she advises, consults with, and educates attorneys, paralegals, and clients on eDiscovery best practices.
In addition to her CEDS certification through ACEDS, Garner earned the Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP) designation in Discovery through NALA. Her bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix is in business administration, and she has taken graduate courses in organizational leadership. Garner taught technology for 10 years at CSULA’s paralegal program.
Prior to moving into litigation support, Garner managed paralegals, docketing, and other practice support professionals and was a technology trainer.
