Chauntis Jenkins-Floyd

Chauntis Jenkins-Floyd is senior counsel at Travelers and serves as the chief diversity officer for the American Bar Association Litigation Section. Prior to her position at Travelers, she founded the Jenkins Floyd Law Firm in Georgia, and she is a former partner of Porteous, Hainkel & Johnson Law Firm in New Orleans. Over two decades she developed an extensive trial and litigation practice representing national and local corporations involving insurance coverage, insurance defense, premise liability, merchant/retail liability, product liability, labor and employment, procurement and intellectual property law in state and federal court. She is licensed to practice in Louisiana and Georgia.

Jenkins-Floyd has been ranked as a top-rated civil litigation attorney in New Orleans by Super Lawyers. She is a leader in the American Bar Association and continues to volunteer with civic and local bar organizations. She is a frequent speaker at ABA and local bar association conferences regarding substantive issues, professional development, and diversity.

Jenkins-Floyd is a native of New Orleans. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Loyola University New Orleans and her JD at the Southern University Law Center.
