Bryan A. Garner is a U.S. lawyer, lexicographer, and teacher who has served as editor-in-chief of Black’s Law Dictionary since 1995, and coauthored two books with Justice Antonin Scalia. Professor Garner has taught more than 2,500 writing workshops since founding his company, LawProse, Inc., and he is a distinguished Research Professor of Law at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
