Bruce Maxwell

Bruce Maxwell is a personal injury lawyer with Terrell Hogan based in Jacksonville, Florida, and practices in state and federal courts in Florida, 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Jacksonville and American Bar Association; Florida Justice Association; American Association for Justice; Georgia Trial Lawyers Association; Lawyers Club of Atlanta; Jacksonville Bar Association, and the Jacksonville Justice Association. He received the “Chair of the Year” award for his 2013-2014 participation on the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Judicial Relations Committee. In addition to his work in these associations, Maxwell is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and is active in Jacksonville. He does pro bono work through JALA and is a board member with Florida’s Children First, a non-profit organization advocating for foster children’s rights. His practice areas include personal injury law, product liability, medical negligence, premises liability, and institutional child abuse/neglect.

Maxwell earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Illinois and his J.D. (with honors) from Drake University School of Law.
