Brenda Cooper joined Practical Law from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, where she was Assistant General Counsel in the Real Estate Unit of the Investments Department. Previously, Brenda was Counsel in the real estate department of Herrick, Feinstein LLP, and a real estate associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP and Rogers & Wells LLP. Brenda has handled all aspects of commercial real estate transactions in the U.S. and internationally representing developers, institutional investors and lenders, including acquisitions; dispositions; mortgage loan origination and servicing; warehouse line, subscription line and other complex structured financings; joint ventures; developments; and asset management.
