Dr. Allison Muller is a board-certified toxicologist and a Pennsylvania-registered pharmacist, with over 20 years’ experience at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania in teaching, writing, and clinical practice. She is the former Clinical Managing Director of the Poison Control Center located at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Her duties included explaining complex and sometimes life-threatening, time-sensitive information to healthcare providers, parents of young children, and patients of all ages. Dr. Muller is currently adjunct faculty at The University of Pennsylvania and an independent medical writer through Acri Muller Consulting, LLC. She’s been published in the following professional journals: American Journal of Hematology and Oncology, Annals of Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, Journal of Emergency Nursing (also a Section Editor), and Pediatric Emergency Care.
