Alicia Freeman is a licensed professional counselor based in Austin and the founder of Freeman Counseling and Consulting, which provides individual therapy and workplace wellness solutions. Since beginning her career in mental health in 2016, Freeman has worked extensively with individuals navigating both emotional challenges and substance use issues. Her clinical specialties include trauma, grief, substance use, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
In addition to her private practice, Freeman serves as a clinical professional for the Texas Lawyer’s Assistance Program (TLAP), a department of the State Bar of Texas. In this role, she provides mental health support and wellness education for attorneys, law students, and judges across the state who are experiencing difficulties related to mental health and substance use.
