Alexander Rusek

Alexander S. Rusek is an attorney in the greater-Lansing, MI area whose practice focuses on complex mass action and class action civil litigation, business law & litigation, criminal law, and appellate law. Mr. Rusek has represented established businesses, new businesses, non-profits, professionals, and individuals involved in multi-party, mass action, and class action litigation, including representing hundreds of survivors of sexual abuse committed by Larry Nassar (Michigan State University/USA Gymnastics), Robert Anderson (University of Michigan), clergy members, Boy Scouts of America volunteers and employees, and others. Mr. Rusek has tried numerous civil and criminal cases to verdict as the lead attorney, including life-offense criminal cases.

Mr. Rusek is a graduate of Oakland University and Michigan State University College of Law, cum laude. He has authored multiple articles that have appeared in American Bar Association publications and the Ingham County Bar Association’s BRIEFS. Mr. Rusek also has a strong interest in new legal technologies and how they can be employed to provide more effective and efficient legal services. Mr. Rusek was Mental Health First Aid USA certified in 2019 and seeks to incorporate trauma-informed principles into his practice every day.
