Elias M. Yazbeck is an associate attorney in the Houston office of McGinnis Lochridge, LLP. Mr. Yazbeck handles a wide-range of civil disputes and business litigation matters in federal and state courts, including bankruptcy courts. In addition to valuable hands-on experience, Mr. Yazbeck also has honed his litigation skills by attending the intensive trial practice training academy conducted by the American Board of Trial Advocates and the trial skills workshop conducted by the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges.
Mr. Yazbeck is a born and raised Texan. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, and his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from South Texas College of Law. He is active in the legal community through his involvement in the Garland R. Walker Inn of Courts, the Bankruptcy Section of the Texas Bar, where he serves as Liaison of Public Education on the Young Lawyers Committee, and the Houston Bar Association, where he serves as Vice-Chair of the Commercial & Consumer Law Section. Mr. Yazbeck also regularly volunteers on weekends at his alma mater as a Breakout Instructor for students enrolled in the South Texas Advocacy Program.
