Jacqueline Bretell

Jacqueline Bretell is an attorney and CEO of Bighorn Law, which has offices in Las Vegas, Nevada and Provo, Utah. Jacqueline was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, and moved to Nashville, Tennessee with her parents and brother in 1995. She attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. After completing her undergraduate studies, Jacqueline attended Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia. 

After graduating from law school Jacqueline relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she went on to pass the Nevada bar exam at only 23 years old. Jacqueline began her legal career as an insurance defense litigator. In 2013, Jacqueline joined Bighorn Law, focusing her practice exclusively on representing those who have been injured.

Jacqueline stepped into the role of “CEO” of Bighorn Law in 2020, revitalizing the firm’s culture to ensure that team members from the mailroom to the partner’s offices felt valued. Jacqueline guided the firm through the economic upheaval of the pandemic by instituting practice management changes which enabled the firm to be leaner, more efficient, while also improving and increasing employee morale. Together with her amazing partners and team of “Unicorns”, Jacqueline has led Bighorn Law to become a nationally recognized eight-figure firm specializing in catastrophic injury cases.
