Shannon Lex Bales is manager of litigation support at Munger Tolles & Olson. He is a California Lawyers Association Law Practice Management and Technology Section Executive Committee member as well as a White House trainer and advisor on eDiscovery. Bales is a UN War Crimes Advisor (Cambodia and Rwanda) for litigation support technology and investigations. He is an adjunct professor at UCLA on trial technology and fact analysis tools, and he is the author of “The Trial Presentation Companion” and author/contributor to “eDiscovery for Corporate Counsel.” Bales is a Legaltech award winner for his work at the UN and was a finalist for his work on the BP oil spill trial. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma.
