Jane M. Spinak is a renowned advocate for children’s welfare and juvenile justice. She co-founded Columbia Law School’s clinics representing families and children and directed the Adolescent Representation Clinic. She specializes in juvenile justice, child advocacy, and family court reform, while also mentoring students interested in public service. Spinak serves on various committees addressing children’s rights and teaches at Columbia Law School. She was the founding board chair of the Center for Family Representation and continues to serve on the board.
