Jessica Mangrum is a seasoned judge presiding over the Texas 200th District Court since January 1, 2021. Her jurisdiction includes a wide range of civil and family law cases, such as business, commercial, administrative, consumer, real estate, divorce, child custody, and child protective services (CPS) matters. Before her appointment as judge, she held a prominent position as a partner at Thompson Coe’s Austin office, where she specialized in commercial and construction litigation, personal injury, professional liability, and complex business cases.
Judge Mangrum’s professional affiliations include memberships in the Austin Bar Association, the Travis County Women Lawyers Association, and the State Bar of Texas. She is recognized by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization as a board-certified specialist in Construction Law since 2017. Additionally, she contributes to the legal community by serving on the Editorial Board of The Advocate, a quarterly publication by the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Texas, and actively participating in the Ethics Committee of the Judicial Section of the State Bar of Texas.
