Andrew Schierberg

Andrew Schierberg is a retired police officer and chief who earned a law degree and started his own solo practice, Stages Elder Law & Estate Planning, in Northern Kentucky.

His career in law enforcement helped Schierberg develop the ability to work with people and families in their moments of tragedy and crisis, bringing calm where there is chaos. As he moved into his solo practice, he aimed to bring those skills to the practice of law. Having stood with families as an officer in the very moment they learned of the death of a loved one, he saw the difference between families who have a plan in place and those that don’t, which drove him into elder care law, estate planning, and crisis management for seniors and their loved ones. 

He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Northern Kentucky and his J.D. at the University of Northern Kentucky’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. 

Schierberg is a member of the Safe Aging Coalition of Northern Kentucky, a board member of the Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky, and previously served as the President of the Northern Kentucky Police Chief’s Association. In his spare time, he enjoys bike rides and restoring old homes. He is a lifelong resident of Kentucky where he and his wife are raising three young children.
