Karen Lapekas

Karen Lapekas is the Owner and President of Lapekas Law, P.A., as well as an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law. Prior to starting Lapekas Law, Karen was a Senior Attorney at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel (Miami) where she represented the IRS in over 170 cases in U.S. Tax Court and served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney defending the government’s interest in Bankruptcy cases.
