Dave Scriven-Young is an environmental and commercial litigator in the Chicago office of O’Hagan Meyer, which handles a full range of litigation matters with more than 285 attorneys in 21 offices across the country. He regularly speaks and publishes on environmental and construction law issues. He is the author of the Illinois Environmental Law blog, which provides news and updates on cases, laws, and regulations involving Illinois environmental issues. He also holds several leadership positions in the American Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association as well as his church and community, including holding elected office in his local township.
Dave earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Marquette University and his law degree, summa cum laude, Order of the Coif, from DePaul University College of Law, where he was on law review and was an extern for the Honorable Blanche M. Manning, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Dave’s interests include ice hockey, baseball, emotional intelligence, and all things Disney.
