Debra S. Austin, JD, PhD is a Professor of the Practice of Law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Dr. Austin teaches Lawyering Process and Professionalism and Well-being Skills for the Effective Lawyer. She writes and speaks about how neuroscience and psychology research can improve the well-being and performance of law students, lawyers, and other professionals. Dr. Austin is currently working on a new book titled, The Legal Brain: A Lawyer’s Guide to Well-being and Better Job Performance for Cambridge University Press.
