Hema Lochan is a Fordham Law School 2021 graduate, and an incoming Associate Attorney at Earthjustice. At Fordham, Hema was awarded the Dean’s Special Achievement Award for her contribution to the Fordham Law School community. She also served as a Professionalism Fellow, sat on the Dean’s Anti-racism Committee and the school’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and was a Stein Public Interest Scholar. Hema was a student intern in Fordham’s Legislation and Policy Advocacy Clinic where she worked on grand jury reform. Her focus is on environmental and criminal justice, as well as technology and legal education.
Hema earned her B.A. from Princeton University in 2016, majoring in anthropology and environmental studies. She is an avid runner, writer, and enjoys listening to (and sometimes performing) stand-up comedy.
