William L. Murphy is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, and Homeland Security at St. John’s University. His teaching interests include employment law, criminal procedure, and litigation practice. In 2016, he was awarded the Legal Society Distinguished Service Award. Before joining St. John’s University, Murphy worked as a practicing attorney, representing both employers and employees in all aspects of labor and employment litigation. Murphy earned his J.D. from the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.
