Jim St. Germain is the co-founder of PLOT. Jim has an associate degree in human services from the Borough of Manhattan Community College and a bachelor of arts degree in political science from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
He is on the Board of the National Juvenile Defender Center and was appointed by President Barack Obama to the Coordinator Council on Juvenile and Justice Delinquency Prevention (CCJJ).
Jim is an author, storyteller and motivational speaker whose work encompasses issues related to criminal justice, mentoring, mental health, substance abuse, education and poverty.
Jim is the co-author of a newly released book, “The Good Immigrant” and a memoir, “A Stone Of Hope,” who was recently hailed by former president Barack Obama. Jim has written and co-directed “Every9Hours,” which tackles police shootings in the United States.
