Paige Samblanet is a third-year law student at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Her focus is in environmental and energy law, and she is currently serving her second term as President of Loyola’s Environmental Law Society and is also Team Captain for Loyola’s 2019-2020 National Environmental Moot Court Team. She is currently clerking at two law firms; the Law Firm of Jennifer F. Novak (located in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA) and the Sohagi Law Group (located in Brentwood, CA).
Paige is very involved with the California Lawyer’s Association, as she was a CLA-Environmental Law Fellowship recipient in 2017 and is also a Remy Scholarship recipient for the upcoming 2019 Yosemite Environmental Law Conference. Prior to law school, Paige worked as a stormwater specialist for an environmental engineering company, acting as a lead within the stormwater enforcement team and conducted commercial, residential, and industrial stormwater inspections and compliance monitoring throughout Southern California.
Paige has also traveled to both Kenya and South Africa, assisting scientific research teams and studying biome resiliency and anthropogenic impacts on ecosystems. She plans to continue her environmental law career in California to help create a more sustainable and healthy future.
