Dr. Bogdan Savych is a senior policy analyst at WCRI, focusing on labor and health economics issues. He recently published studies examining the effects of attorney representation, the impact of provider consolidation on the use of medical care, and the impact of opioid prescribing on return to work. He also examines the performance of the workers’ compensation system in Virginia as part of the CompScope™ benchmarking studies. Dr. Savych received his Ph.D. from Pardee RAND Graduate School.
