Jason D. Silver is an associate in the Financial Services practice group at Greenspoon Marder. Mr. Silver handles all facets of consumer finance litigation on behalf of financial institutions. He also handles other various commercial and civil litigation matters in state and federal courts. In addition, he handles municipal lien reduction litigation and mitigation, all aspects of representation of national timeshare corporations, and bankruptcy litigation.
Mr. Silver has also practiced municipal and government law. He has presided as the Deputy Municipal Attorney at monthly municipal meetings at the Village of El Portal, Florida. He has assisted with the representation in election related disputes, municipal Zoning Board related disputes, a municipality’s effort to implement a Form-Cased Code, and interned at the Office of the City Attorney at the City of Miami, Florida while in law school. He is a member of the Florida Municipal Attorneys Association (FMAA) and is a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator.
Regarding service to the community and the bar, Mr. Silver was appointed as Chair of The Florida Bar’s Standing Committee for Student Education and Admissions to the Bar after serving as Vice Chair. He is a past President of The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division’s Law Student Division was also recently appointed to Grievance Committee 17I for The Florida Bar. He previously served as an elected member of The Dade County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section Board of Directors.
