Gary R. Trugman, CPA/ABV, ASA, MVS is the President of Trugman Valuation Associates Inc., a business valuation and economic damages firm with offices in Plantation, Fl. and Parsippany, NJ. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Florida, New Jersey and New York (inactive). He is designated as an Accredited Business Valuer by the American Institute of CPAs and an Accredited Senior Appraiser by The American Society of Appraisers. Gary has a Master’s Degree in Valuation Sciences from Lindenwood College. Gary is the current Chairman of the Constitution and Bylaws Committee of ASA. He has been on numerous committees of the AICPA, ASA and the IBA, as well as committees of various state CPA societies throughout his career. He has authored a textbook entitled Understanding Business Valuation, published by the AICPA (5th ed.), has coauthored several other textbooks, has authored educational courses for several organizations and has authored articles in various publications. Gary is on the faculty on the National Judicial College and has testified throughout the country in both Federal and state courts. He lectures and teaches business valuation topics all over the country for various organizations.
