Jesse L. Beringer is an associate and litigation lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. She is a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Antitrust, Distribution & Franchise, and Government Enforcement Defense & Investigations Practices. Jesse’s practice involves representing clients in a wide array of complex litigation matters in a number of areas, including antitrust, class action defense, contract disputes, False Claims Act defense, government administrative proceedings, and internal investigations. She also has experience assisting clients with issues related to mergers and acquisitions, including preparation of Hart-Scott-Rodino premerger notification filings, as well as filings before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (“CFIUS”).
Broadly, Jesse represents clients in a variety of business litigation before state and federal courts, as well as arbitration panels.
Prior to joining Foley, Jesse worked as a summer associate with Foley in 2012. She also held the position of judicial intern to the Honorable Chief Judge Charles N. Clevert, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin during the summer of 2011. Jesse also worked as an intern for members of the House of Representatives both in district offices and on Capitol Hill, intermittently between 2008 and 2010.
