Kalyani is Partner at Chandhiok & Associates in New Delhi. She previously worked in the competition team at Luthra and Luthra. She represents companies in cartel and abuse of dominance investigations before the Competition Commission of India. She has also advised companies on issues concerning merger review and notifications. Between September 2014 and February 2015, she worked with Latham & Watkins, Brussels, on a short term contract where she gained experience in EU competition law. She was involved in notification procedures of merger transactions at the EC and multi-jurisdictional level. She also extensively worked on various aspects in relation to several cartel investigations. Kalyani completed her Masters in Law from Georgetown University, Washington D.C. in 2012. Between 2010 and 2011, she worked as a legislative assistant to a Member of the Parliament of India. She also holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelors of Law degree, from University of Delhi.
