Mr Chilufya Sampa has been with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission for 13 years and is now the executive director of the Commission. Mr Sampa was instrumental in drafting the Competition and Consumer Protection Act. Mr Sampa has represented the Commission on a number of forums and committees within Zambia and the region. He sits on the COMESA Competition Commission Board, is a member of the SADC Committee on Competition and Consumer Protection and also sits on the ACF steering committee. Mr Sampa has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, a master’s in economic policy management, and a postgraduate diploma in EC competition law.
