CLA Annual Meeting 2018: Hear from the Leaders of the Bar

Meet the leaders of the newly formed CLA. In this On the Road report from the CLA Annual Meeting, host Laurence Colletti talks to Heather Rosing, Pam Wilson, Jim Hill, Chip Wilkins, and Emilio Varanini about what the CLA leadership looks like after their split from the State Bar and the goals they have for the future of the association. They discuss the responsibilities they’re taking on in terms of furthering diversity and access to justice and the membership benefits they offer to their active members.

Heather L. Rosing serves as the chairperson of the Professional Liability Department at Klinedinst and is currently president of the CLA.

Pam Wilson is the interim executive director of the California Lawyer Association. She was previously the senior director of education of the State Bar of California.

Jim Hill is a founding member of Sullivan Hill and the inaugural chair of the Board of Representatives of the CLA.

Chip Wilkins joined the firm Remy Moose Manley in 2005 and became a partner in 2010. His practice focuses on land use and environmental law.

Emilio Varanini is the vice president of the CLA.
