Data shows that nearly 75% of people in the civil justice system are unrepresented. From the Oklahoma Summit on Access to Justice, On the Road host Jim Calloway talks to Katherine Alteneder, the executive director of the Self-Represented Litigation Network (SRLN). They discuss how her organization aims to create an environment in the civil justice system that is supportive of unrepresented litigants. The legal professionals involved in SLRN work to develop plain language forms, implement legal triage processes, and direct people to limited scope or full representation when needed.
Katherine Alteneder is the executive director of the Self-Represented Litigation Network.
