Mr. Wayte, after serving as Law Clerk to the Honorable Frederick E. Stone of the California Fifth District Court of Appeal and as Deputy District Attorney of Fresno County, commenced practice with McCormick Barstow in 1963. Mr. Wayte has in the past handled a wide variety of civil litigation including automobile liability, premises liability, work place injury liability, and construction claims. In the past forty five years, he has emphasized in his practice the defense of professional liability claims including legal and medical malpractice–representing attorneys, medical doctors, hospitals, podiatrists, chiropractors, and medical clinics–product liability claims including agricultural chemical matters and both motorized and stationary equipment injury claims and medical product claims. In addition, Mr. Wayte has represented professionals before licensing disciplinary boards.
