Some young lawyers have a misconception that antitrust litigation is boring. In reality, antitrust frequently involves conspiracies, bullies, monopolies, and accusations that businesses are trying to crush an underdog to avoid competition. Also, lots of money often is at stake. In this Special Report, host Laurence Colletti talks to Joseph Alioto, owner of Alioto Law Firm, about why antitrust laws are important and why young lawyers should be interested in them. Joe also talks about the most rewarding aspects of his job, including encouraging healthy competition between larger and smaller companies, and shares some of his stand-out cases.
