Julia Dunlap, Esq. is the American Association for Paralegal Education’s President for 2017. AAfPE promotes quality paralegal education, develops educational standards, and encourages professional growth. Dunlap is also the director of legal education for UC San Diego Extension. As part of her commitment to innovation, Dunlap recently developed an online eDiscovery and Litigation Technology certificate to help legal professionals meet new continuing legal education requirements or gain proficiencies to meet Duty of Competence rulings. Prior to her current positions, Dunlap was an attorney at the Law Office of Julia M. Dunlap and an adjunct professor at Palomar College Education.
