Kristen Anderson is a partner at the firm Scott & Scott. She represents corporations, entrepreneurs, pension funds, institutional investors, and individuals that face commercial disputes in antitrust and complex business litigation in federal and state courts, including national class actions. A substantial portion of Kristen’s practice is devoted to antitrust litigation within financial markets. She is often selected as the principal drafter for major motions in antitrust cases, including motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, Daubert and other evidentiary motions, and class certification motions. Kristen is also experienced in all aspects of fact and expert discovery and was a member of the trial team in a six-week antitrust class action trial in 2013. She also counsels clients on antitrust, deceptive trade practices, advertising, and unfair competition issues. Kristen is an active member of the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Section. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Trial Practice Committee and was previously a Vice Chair of the Books & Treatises Committee. Kristen was also a contributing author to the Antitrust Section’s Antitrust Discovery Handbook (2d ed.), Joint Venture Handbook (2d ed.), and the 2010 Annual Review of Antitrust Law Developments. In addition, she served as an editor for Model Jury Instructions in Civil Antitrust Cases (2016 ed.) and The Woman Advocate (2d ed.). Kristen is the Editor-in-Chief of MARKET+LITIGATION, Scott+Scott’s monthly newsletter. She is also active in the firm’s continuing legal education programs, speaking on e-discovery, evidence, and antitrust issues.
